Arrival in Helsinki, Finland - Arrive at noon and have rest of day free to explore and probably go to bed a little early to deal with the jetlag.
Explore Helsinki - Today we are doing a tour of the canals of Helsinki and then have the rest of the day free to explore. Probably going to see the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Early travel to Tallinn, Estonia - Take a morning two hour ferry ride from Helsinki's harbor across the Gulf of Finland into Tallinn, Estonia's capital. We have a two hour guided tour of Estonia food, drinks and history scheduled.
Late travel to Stockholm, Sweden - Morning and early afternoon is free to explore Tallinn before leaving around 5pm on an overnight cruise to Stockholm. There is a KGB museum in Tallinn which sounds interesting.
Arrival in Stockholm - In the morning we arrive to Stockholm and are free to explore at our leisure. In the evening, we will meet the tour guide and group for a welcome drink and get a detailed schedule of future events.
Explore Stockholm - Guided bus tour to the top attractions of City Hall, Norrmalm city centre, Stureplan square, Ostermalm and Fjallgatan. Afterwards, a walking tour through medieval cobblestone streets of Old Town. After lunch with the group, the rest of the day is free to explore on our own.
Morning travel to Copenhagen, Denmark - After breakfast, we board a train bound to Malmo, the southern point of Sweden. A bus transfer will take us into Copenhagen and then a walking tour of Castle Island, Danish Parliament and Frederik's Church.
Explore Copenhagen - Morning with group touring Rosenborg Castle and Botanical Garden, then lunch at the Torvehallerne food market. Next, group trip on open-air boat tour around the coast. Afternoon and evening is free to explore on our own.
Travel to Oslo, Norway - Day is free to continue exploring the Copenhagen sights and sounds. Later in the afternoon, we board a ship to Oslo and have a traditional Scandanavian dinner buffet on board.
Arrival in Oslo - Arrive in Oslo in the morning and go to a guided bus tour of Oslo which includes the Akershus Fortress, VIgeland Sculpture Park, Royal Palace and Oslo City Hall. The rest of the day is free to explore on our own.
Travel to Flam, Norway - In the morning we board the train to Bergen, voted one of the top 20 train journeys in the world with beautiful landscapes as travel goes up to Norway's mountainous "rooftop." Transfer to the Flam railway which is a 12 mile ride with a 3,000 foot descent into the village of Flam. Bus ride to a scenic Stegastein Fjord viewpoint.
Travel to Bergen, Norway - Morning is free to explore Flam, then onto a boat tour to travel on Aurlandsfjord and Naeroyfjord, the narrowest in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We then travel via train to Bergen arriving in the evening.
Explore Bergen - Guided tour of Bryggen, the medieval part of the city which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The afternoon and evening is free to explore Bergen, with complimentary tickets to the Floibanen funicular, and ending with a group dinner.
Depart Norway - Time to head back home after a long and wonderful trip!
